Candidates are requested to read he instruction carefully in the Information
Brochure before filling the online application form.
In case of difficulties in applying online candidates may take help/assistance from
their nearest Polytechnic under Directorate of Technical Education, Assam and also
contact the help centre provided in the online portal.
Candidates will not be permitted to take admission without Permanent Resident
Certificate (PRC)/ Caste Certificate/Non-Creamy Layer Certificate for OBC/MOBC of
Assam. Therefore, the candidates are requested to keep the PRC and above
mentioned documents ready well in advance.
Candidates name, Father’s name, Mother’s name and date of birth should be same as
mentioned in HSLC or equivalent certificate.
Kindly check properly your pre-filled Registration data any changes/ modification
update here scanned copies of all documents/certificates to be uploaded as required.
The original certificate must be produced by the selected candidate at the time of
admission in the concerned polytechnic.
Eligibility Criteria:
The candidate must be passed the HSLC or equivalent Examination in a single
sitting without grace marksin Science & Mathematics and also has to pass both
theory and practical/ internal assessment individually. With Mathematics and
Science as compulsory subjects.
Average marks in Mathematics and Science should be minimum
a) 40% for General/ OBC/MOBC Candidates
b) 35 % for SC candidates
c) 33 % ST candidates
Maximum age of candidate
a) 20 years 6 months as on 31st December 2024 relaxation by three years
for candidates belonging to SC/ST/STP/STH category and five years in
case of person with disability.
